I rated this a 4 originally, but I liked it even more on the reread!! The cast of characters Kresley is building is so great—I love the evolution of Lachlain and Emma’s relationship, everything is so heightened and dramatic because they’re freaking immortals!! I forgot how much comic relief Nix provides, Emma as well with her modern speech that confuses Lachlain. And so many of the details are so fun and interesting, like

giving the wraiths their hair in exchange for protection, eating electricity, etc.

And I love Emma the Unlikely coming into her own and discovering who she is!
