4.5 stars in actuality.
I am very impressed by the finale of this series. I was a little worried that it would be a flop, especially after the way The Infinite Sea went, but I am thrilled to say it wasn't!
There were some moments in this book that were totally out there and did absolutely nothing to benefit the plot so I couldn't give it the full 5 stars. There's this whole thing with Ringer that's kinda just randomly thrown at you and then never mentioned again until the very end. It was weird.
I like how Cassie's story went. It was so typical but different from what you would normally see with the heroine. Ben was Ben, Sam was Sam.... Evan was out there as usual.
The overall story was a lot more action packed than the last book, which I really enjoyed! I like reading about them actually doing things, not bunkering down or being kept as a prisoner and whatnot.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I managed to get through it relatively quickly, which is always a good thing, and I found myself trying to constantly make time to read it.
