This book was a lot of fun to listen to! Greg Boudreaux did some amazing voice acting in this one. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite narrators. His performance as Marc was perfect. I loved Marc so much. His air of superiority and disdain for "grubby" humans was so good and quite funny as he was forced to actually befriend some. I loved how Ian goaded Marc. I laughed out loud a lot while listening to this book. And it was surprisingly sweet when Ian and Marc ended up falling for one another. I enjoyed all the paranormal aspects and even though I haven't read the series that deals with what happened 6yrs earlier, there was enough backstory given here that I never felt lost. I also liked the twist that happens, I hadn't guessed it and think I audibly gasped when it was revealed. I'm looking forward to listening to the next book in the series too!
