Pageboy by Elliot Page

Elliot Page offers a non-linear, deep look at his career and transition in his memoir, told in a refreshing and unique way. I really liked his prose and storytelling abilities, the way he talked about important people in his life, his growth, and his struggles. I see it why some are struggling with the format, it didn't bother me too much.

This is a really important book for Page to be putting out right now, and it's a really important one to read, imo. He discusses what being trans means to him and why coming out is so important to him. He often mentions that he'd aware coming out is bigger than him: if he doesn't do it for himself, he'll do it for people who don't have the same privileges. I really liked his author note at the beginning. A very brave memoir :)
