In general I really like this story and the illustrations.  The rhyme and the rhythm work well.  However, at my library this would be put in with “inspirational” books and not read at story time because of all the references to god.  There are four, and while they are simple and non-specific, they are there and would put this squarely in the no pile for public story time.  However, it would be great for Sunday school, or parochial schools.
