I enjoyed this book, and thought that the plot was brilliant. For me though this book was at least 100 pages too short. I found it difficult to become invested in the relationships because for me there wasn’t enough build into them. That said the relationship that I think was done brilliantly and I loved reading was that of Ijeoma and her mother. Overall a good book, but just lacked something deeper for me.
