I guess I’ll start with the pros: 1. Short. 2. Had a pun in the title. That’s all. This novella seems to have fallen victim to unlikable characters. The main character/narrator was just overly irritating. I love amateur sleuths usually (awh, Minnie Hamilton you are your cat are tops) but this was…well when everyone kept telling her to let the police do their job, I found myself actually wishing she would listen. Sorry but how do you decide you can join the sheriff in arresting the murderer? Girl..stay in the car. Actually, stay home.
