Would have been 5 RIGHT UNTIL I GOT TO THE END. It felt so much like a soap opera! And it FREAKED ME OUT! But excited to read number 2.
Update 9/2013: Reread for movie. Movie was bad. Bad writing + bad acting. It was hard to appreciate the book after reading the Infernal Devices in which the writing is just SO much better.
Reread 2022: fast paced and fun. Happy to be back into the shadow hunter world.
