4.5 stars all the way! This story felt like a combination of The Selection and Poison Study books, two AMAZING series I never thought could be compared to other books. After the first fifty pages, I was addicted to this book. What I liked most was that it starts off feeling like a dystopian novel but then you realize its not that at all! And its perfect that Mare is more than just the love interest.
