Strut
by Jay Hogan
Jay Hogan certainly knows how to weave a wonderful emotional story that kept me turning the pages well into the night. Alec and Hunter are strongly developed characters with so much passion, for their careers and each other. An encounter 12 months prior showed that the chemistry between them was undeniable. When they reconnect that chemistry ignites leading to lots of steamy times balanced with sweet and tender moments.
As the plot unfolds so does the drama and angst that Alec experiences due to a well regarded person within the industry. (Please read the triggers warnings.) Hunter does all he can to support and protect Alec and when their friends are informed they quickly jump into the fray to assist. What Alec had to initially endure, and the subsequent fallout, broke my heart at times but with his strength of character and Hunter’s unwavering support they tackled it together and wouldn’t let anything derail their relationship.
This certainly is a well researched eye opening book about male models and the fashion industry. I loved every moment and look forward to the next in the series.
