linyarai 's review for:
The Lady Alchemist
by Samantha Vitale
I received this book from LibraryThing in exchange for a review here and on my blog Samwise Reviews. I loved every minute of this. From the second I realized it was a Rumpelstiltskin adaptation, I was hooked. The story started with that, but it was So. Much. More. It had romance and adventure and friendship and magic and drama and hardship and just everything. It was a delicious ride to the very end, and I was demanding a sequel before I was even half way through. Some parts of it were a bit of a predictable YA trope (which I enjoy and find comforting) but parts of it caught me off guard and I didn't see coming (which I also enjoy). Overall, one of my favorite things I've read in a while and I greatly look forward to other work by this author.
