The Oracle Code by Marieke Nijkamp

I am coming to super hero comics with only the vaguest ideas of who folks are, so I'm sure there are some aspects I miss out on when I read these. But I did appreciate that they didn't feel the need to explicitly spell out Babs' traumatic event. I think they told enough about it through the puzzle piece imagery. Note that I am coming from an able bodied perspective, but I thought it felt like a realistic portrayal of someone coming to terms with their new physical limitations. It wasn't the 'disability inspiration' trope and the open discussion of how sometimes old friends fall away during life changing events felt real.

I liked the mystery and watching Babs come into her own in taking on the problem her way.
