This is my third and final book by Grady Hendrix. I read the description of his books and think this sounds interesting. Then, I’ll read some great reviews and think this will be the one I like. So, I get the audiobook and I am disappointed every time. The narrator of this book is not the greatest. Her pronunciation of many words is wrong, and the worst part is the main character’s name. Her name is Louise, but she pronounces it as Luis. The story itself is way too long and a bit juvenile, and the two main characters are totally unlikeable. I kept waiting for the story to get scary, which never happened; it was just the same thing happening repeatedly. So sorry, Mr. Hendrix, but this is where we part ways. I want to say it was fun, but it wasn’t.
