Ok, this third book redeemed the trilogy for me! I am a sucker for happy endings where the hero wins and the bad guys get their just desserts. I think Cardan has redeemed himself as well, and getting to know him better in this third book allowed me to like him more, and feel that Jude wasn't waisting herself on him. Taryn is even a little more redeemed for being a selfish girl! I would love to read a book about the future of Elfhame. Does Oak ever become king? What kind of child does Taryn have and how is their personality? What about Jude and Cardan? Do they become parents? And Madoc and Oriana in the mortal world??? That has to be interesting. Plus, Vivi and Heather deserve an awesome future. I just would like to know! Wonderful trilogy. I'm so glad I finally finished it.
