I have enjoyed all of Quinn's book and this one is no exception. This one is set in the 50s about the female tenants at the Briarwood boarding house. The chapters alternate between the tenants of each of the tenants and each of their story was so unique.
I love this era with changing roles for women post war and their expectations. Their weekly supper was a great way to bring these ladies together and I enjoyed seeing the recipes and how they were such a significant part of the story.
Be sure to read the author's note and her inspiration for this story.
