The idea was great, the execution wasn’t for me.

for such a short story i started to get bored, mostly because i didn’t really know where it was going but also because while it had a darker atmosphere overall until the very end nothing really happens and at the end the entire thing feels rushed and leaves it all unexplained and very much up to the readers interpretation on what and how it happened.

i think my biggest issue is that this very short story switches point of view to different characters three times without real explanation or good reason as to way. it took me out of the story and what it was telling and just as i started to get a feel for it again the POV changed again.

not for me.
