Always love a Rick Riordan book. Reading this series has been a long time in the making but I'm so glad I've finally seen it out. I know that if I read them back to back (instead of years apart) I would be a sobbing mess right now, and I can't lie and say I'm completely dry-eyed.

As always, Riordan's cast of characters feel like a warm hug. Being the finale in a five-part series, the drama kicks off from the first page and keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end - is that another series with my favourite gay demigods being hinted?
