I’m not the biggest fan of picture books with no words at all. But I do recognise their ability to make us think, especially for children, and this one in particular does that immensely.

The book is made up of scenes where you are shown one perspective on the first side of the page, and the same scene from another point of view on the next! It is a great way to get children to imagine and guess what might be happening,or what might happen next.

The book also revisits the same characters throughout so is perfect for children to spot familiar faces and hidden symbols.
