this was much more cozy and romance-focused than i expected (and more than i would expect, given the overarching plot of

the RC coming to the moon, with them having killed Faraday

). i also felt like i was kept at arms length from any of the characters, and couldn’t get attached to any of them (even Lane). if you like cozy books, you might vibe with this, but i definitely did not
