While this book does not hit the same as The Red Palace does, it's still good. I really appreciate the amount of research and effort June Hur puts into her works because that's what makes each book (including this one) compelling. I always learn something from her books. Also, the enemies to lovers bit was amazing! And I think that this story has one of my favorite last lines ever; when I first read it, I had to reread it a couple of times and just sit there. It was that good. Overall, this is a good book and I can't wait to see what future books June Hur will publish.
