One Last Stop confused me at first, but that's only because I did;t read the synopsis at first. I was confused by the magical realism because I didn't know it was going to be there, but it was okay because I was learning with the characters. The first half felt slow, like an exposition about the character rather than something to further the plot. The second half though was good and would convince me to do a reread sometime, though the last chapter felt irrelevant in my opinion.
