I really loved this book even with everything that happens by the end it was so well written I am really looking forward to the sequel. I loved the characters so much especially Celia,Anya and Griffin or the plague doctor as her is called throughout most of the book. I loved Celia for how strong she was and how she ended up beating the odds that were stacked against her. I really loved Anya for her relationship with Celia and how she was the light in the darkness for Celia and in the end

I just loved her character so much. I loved Griffin for his oddness and ability to get under Celia's skin and for how tenacious he could be I loved him so much. I really loved the plot which has a basis in what is basically a cult and in tattoos. I liked how the story started with Celia and Anya running away to escape the horribleness that is the Divine and how it came back to haunt them and how they had to fight to stop it from doing unspeakable things. So overall I loved this book and I really want to read the sequel when it comes out.
