I had never heard of Nancy Harkness Love before, and I only had vague ideas about women pilots around WWII, so this was an informative and engaging read for me. I still wanted more depth in Nancy's connections to other people; it read as though her deepest emotions were anger at injustice and mourning for the dead, but I also wanted to see the love and connections more on the page.
