another win from katee robert in the books!! every time I pick up another installment from this series, I’m reminded of how sexy, bingeable, and downright fun they are!!

it took me a while to warm up to ariadne and the minotaur, especially after getting glimpses of them from previous books in the series. and the minotaur (asterion) was soooo possessive which happens to one of my 🚩 and even though he came around at the end to be more sweet and caring, it still put me off a lot about the couple

however, the politics and overarching plot in this one was SO good! the past few books in this series have felt like filler books leading up to this big moment, and I loved how the chaos of the olympus took center stage over the romance portions!!

big shoutout to dionsyus actually having a characterization flesh out in this one too that had me PINING for him to get his own book 🥺 and my queens hera and hermes and their scheming? say less

definitely not my favorite in the series but one of the more invested stories for me!! would risk it all for the dark olympus crew in fact
