I can totally see why this doesn't work for some people, it's slow, there's practically no plot, and it's sold on a relationship that starts quickly. But this just worked so well for me, Addie is a fantastic character who really captivated me and her dance with Luc over the centuries was so intriguing. Henry was great too and his love and dedication to Addie moved me immensely.
Great world building that didn't feel heavy handed at all and beautiful (if a little repetitive at times) prose. I thought this was a lovely and deeply sad story.
