“The Surprise Party” by Victoria Saxon 

Cute Aristocats story in which it’s Thomas O’Malley’s birthday, and Duchess and the kittens throw him a party. Also Madame shows up and apparently speaks cat or somehow can communicate and understand them. Thomas honestly wants to leave most of the time to hang out with his boys which is kind of sketchy. IDK, 3/5. 

 

“Watch Dug” by Jennifer Arena 

This one was SO CUTE it was about Carl and Russell going on a camping trip with Dug. They hear a noise and so Dug decides to stay up all night to stand guard against the animal. Ended with a cute sunset scene. 4/5 

 

“Fire Pup of the Day” by Courtney Carbone 

Rolly wants to be a firedog because of an episode of Thunderbolt! He and Penny and Patch end up competing in a firedog competition and he loses :( but he has the chance to become a real hero when he sees smoke in the kitchen! Rolly saves the day, and we see that courage > being the fastest. 4/5 

 

“Stitch’s Day at School” by John Edwards 

Lily takes Stitch to Pet Day at school and of course, Stitch gets into hijinks as he chases after the class frog Mr. Phibbs. He comes back just in time to be presented to the class. Cute story and loved Nani! 3/5
