allieonreading 's review for:
And There He Kept Her
by Joshua Moehling
This is another difficult one to review. The main character was interesting, but a little stiff and flat. You come to see that that is the character, though, which makes it easier to understand. The villain was so hard to read in this book. I could feel the author trying to make him sympathetic, or at least complicated, and while that’s true what he did was just so icky that I could never fully be okay with him. I am interested enough to read the sequel!
