De onverwachte held van kamer 13B
by Teresa Toten, Esther Ottens
This book is amazing. I've cried 6(!!) times while reading this. I've only had one book over which I've cried multiple times while reading, and that was [b:The Notebook|15931|The Notebook (The Notebook, #1)|Nicholas Sparks|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1385738917s/15931.jpg|1498135] with 'only' 3 cries (but in 90 pages..). So, this book has something special.
I've cried because I was happy, because I was touched, because I was hurt, because I was sad and two more times because I was touched I think. When a book can do that to me, it is really special. I just really feel for Adam and I really feel I connect with him.
The beginning of the book is so incredibly cute right away, I wanted to hug the world because of it. About them:
And I always like it in books when the lovers don't end up together. This may sound a bit weird, but when I read something like this, I always get the feeling it is really good for the story and development. And sometimes it just is right for the story: during a period someone means the world to you but that does not always mean you will stay together untill forever, sometimes it is just over and that does not have to be a bad thing.
Summarized: The character development is beautiful in this book.
This book has a lot of OSD, and it is really well explained and well handled. It is not an issue in this book, it is something that just is and he needs to handle. The book is about the struggle to handle it, not about the thing itself. I like that attitude. A lot. That is how it should be: nothing should be an issue. Everybody is different, you need to handle yourself, and your surroundings of course but by handling your attitude towards it.
I'm very grateful to Evelyn - yes, again - for recommending this book to be. I would not have picked it up because of the cover or the title, but as you may have noticed - I love this book. I would have missed it otherwise and that would have been such a shame.

I really liked how there relationship evolved and my heart broke when Robins broke.. but I think it is really good for the story, it makes Adam a lot stronger, and I like that. And I always like it in books when the lovers don't end up together.
