I heard a lot of mixed reviews about this book so I was really nervous going into it but I'm happy to say I ended up really enjoying it!

I really liked the characters and loved the storyline. It was so much fun watching the game play out and I loved the magic involved in the book. It was hard not to love all the characters too. Nikolai, Vika, and Pasha were all wonderful and added so much to the story.

I totally did not see them ending coming though. I thought for sure something else would happen but I was surprised in a good way. Maybe that's why it got mixed reviews ... people didn't like the ending? I don't really read negative reviews thoroughly so I'm not sure. But I liked it and I'm looking forward to reading book two!
