Bright Lights, Big Christmas by Mary Kay Andrews
4.0

If you're searching for a book that perfectly embodies the Christmas spirit, you must read the cozy Bright Lights, Big Christmas. Despite its slow pace, the novel's vivid depictions of the season will transport you to a winter wonderland. You'll feel the chill in the air, catch the scent of pine trees, and warm up inside as Kerry, the protagonist, navigates her life as a Christmas tree saleswoman. Throughout the book, Kerry makes new friends, including the young Austin, who adds a touch of cuteness to the story.

Although I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book, there is one criticism to make. The romantic aspect of the story felt underdeveloped, with some of the relationship's progressions happening suddenly. However, the intriguing and multilayered characters more than made up for it. Overall, I highly recommend Bright Lights, Big Christmas for the holiday season.
