Ashes of You
by Catherine Cowles
Catherine Cowles never misses and this is no exception. I love her small town romances and they are my guilty pleasure and escape. I love the equal parts of suspense, mystery, romance, swoonworthy moments, just the right amount of spice and the laugh out loud moments. I loved that this is a single dad/nanny romance and I just adored the relationship between Lawson and Hallie. They had met before under the worst circumstances, but Hallie felt safe with Lawson because he had saved her. Their connection was strong right off the bat and you could tell just how much they cared for each other. I also LOVED the kids! Charlie, Drew, and Luke stole my heart! They were hilarious, especially all together and I loved Luke's journey. He's a special kid and I hope we see more of him in the future. I am sad to say goodbye to the Hartley family but it was such a great ending and I loved the epilogue too. I am excited for the new series! I can't wait to see Anson fall in love. Also, can we get a series that features the kids all grown up?! I need more Cady, Charlie, Luke, Drew and others. PLEASE CATHERINE COWLES, I BEG YOU!
