Gantz/25
by Hiroya Oku
Okay back on my Gantz run here.
This whole volume is just one big fight. Against the same foe who seems unkillable. But after every single member who survived so far teams up they use their combined tactical fighting to take down the unstoppable-like monster. But that's not all! We see who survived and who didn't make it at the end, a return of an important character, and the end game to the series. That's right folks, mankind is ending soon!
Good: The fights are always pretty great. Some kills in here are pure fucked up and others just gory for the sake of it. The ending was good, set up pieces for this series to continue for sure. Oh, and vampire man became useful for once.
Bad: The shouting, standing still, 9 panels of the same scene, can get a bit annoying. Also, this felt like the LEAST amount of deaths in the series. Interesting.
Overall another balls to the walls action packed volume. While it lost it's shock value it still remains pretty entertaining. A 3 out of 5.
