I was expecting to be disappointed by the cliffhanger but I actually liked it??? She didn’t leave us with any questions unanswered about the case but left the story just open enough that we don’t know exactly how it ends.

This was my favorite audiobook I’ve listened to so far. I thought the acting was phenomenal. And when we didn’t know exactly who a character was, sometimes their voice gave us a little clue before the author told us for sure, which was fun. It was also fun to have Ashley Flowers read the epilogue, but I kept forgetting I wasn’t listening to an episode of Crime Junkie. She definitely has more of a voice for reporting than fiction.
