I‘m sad to say that I didn’t really vibe with this book. I believe I expected this to be much funnier than it was, I also didn’t really enjoy the characters - Finlay, the main character, felt quite grating to me. I quite liked Vero though.
There was a little slump in the middle, I think the book loses a bit of its pace after the first plot point and only picks up once the investigation begins.
