Never Never: Part Three
by Colleen Hoover, Tarryn Fisher
3.5 Stars
Not really sure how to rate/review this one. Its been ages since I read the first two books, so I had a couple of things I had to remember as I was reading, but mostly I just wasn't that enthralled with this book. I wasn't hooked on every page like I was when I first started this little series.
I don't know if its the fact they're still trying to work out what the hell is going on, and yeah, thats just getting old, or if its just that this book just isn't as enrapturing as the first two.
When they finally work out whats going on - my reaction was like "REALLY GUYS?" Its such a far-fetched storyline. I mean the whole series is really, but when I found out the reason for the amnesia, it just didn't have the "OH, shit!" moment or the "Oh, yeahhhhhh" moment I was expecting.
And that ending, the epilogue? For real? Funny but not. I just really don't know how to feel about this one. I really wanted to know what was going on because I had gotten hooked on this little series with the first two books, but, yeah, I don't know, just wasn't really what I was expecting for the finale I guess.
A must read if you've read the first two books in the Never Never series, but don't be surprised if you're not blown away by the conclusion. I love CoHo (yet to read any of Tarryn's books) but this one just wasn't anything spesh for me.
