It was kind of a bummer reading this right after [book:X-Men: Season One|13070942], which reminded me how much I like the X-characters and how you can tell a great story with them in a relatively simple way. This is like...the opposite of that? I still like these characters a lot (uh, not that these are the same set of characters from Season One but like, in general, I like most of the X-characters), but goddamn there is a lot going on. Oof.
