The Five: The Untold Lives of the Women Killed by Jack the Ripper
by Hallie Rubenhold
I can see where it comes from, but the way it is divided over the women doesnt really work for me. Most important about this book is to give a good setting of the time and that newspaper love a good scandal any day. To set the scene, the first chapter are a bit long, and it just feels like why does the first woman get more storytime than the fifth. It just seems so short at the end.
