I really loved this book strangeness and all it told a lot like a creepy old fairy tale there were bits of the creepy tales in the book in bits and pieces. I really liked the character especially Alice she was a very different character a girl that misfortune seemed to follow for a long time she was very well written and she ended up being

a fairy tale character named Alice Three Times which a really creepy fairy tale where she has black eyes ages strangely and is as cold as ice

I just really liked her she would do anything to find her mother Ella again. I really liked the plot of the story it started with Alice telling how they moved around a lot and how bad things seemed to happen around them if they stayed too long in one place. Then her mother is taken by the Hinterland and she has to find her with the help of a boy named Finch I really loved this book. So overall it was a really good book I am looking forward to the sequel.
