Nine Perfect Strangers
by Liane Moriarty
I’m very unsure of my rating for this book. 3.5? I found it to be sort of slow and it felt like it took me forever to finish it. There were times when it got very interesting — psychedelic drugs as a form of therapy? There were other times were it felt that it just never ended.
The characters were likable, and I couldn’t help but sympathize with many of their situations, but I really didn’t like Masha. She reminded me a lot of “The Ancient One” from Doctor Strange (whom I actually did like.) She had too much of a god complex.
The ending fell short for me, but I suppose we as readers had to know where each of them ended up after Tranquillum House.
