The Last Book on the Left: Stories of Murder and Mayhem from History's Most Notorious Serial Killers
by Ben Kissel, Marcus Parks, Henry Zebrowski
informative
medium-paced
This is a great book, and then Ben Kissel opens his mouth...again and again and again. I had never listened to the podcast and the audiobook "reads" like a string of podcast episodes. Ben Kissel is an obnoxious human being, cracking inappropriate and poorly timed jokes in the background over the narrator during the chapter on a Ukrainian pedophile serial killer. You get the sense in the tone of voice from the rest of the group that they are equally disgusted by Kissel, and annoyed for having to work with him in order to pay their bills.
This book gets a 0.5 because of the rest of the crew, and the interesting tidbits. It would easily be a 4+ and would recommend checking out their podcast but....Ben Kissel is a disgusting sad individual. DO NOT READ OR LISTEN

Ben Kissel is absolutely disgusting. Attempting to crack jokes and talk over the narrator when topics like pedophilia are mentioned. Remove Ben Kissel, book is worth buying and reading.
