The Last Olympian is a remarkable conclusion to the original PJO quintet. Action-packed, hilarious, and emotional - it had everything I could have asked for to wrap up the Great Prophecy. I loved seeing so many of our friends from previous books (Tyson & Blackjack, I love you ❤️) while getting to dive more into Percy's character growth as both a hero and (semi) regular teenage boy.
The only thing I wanted more of was time with our Last Olympian - I feel like we missed out on Hestia and her role. I was a crying mess when Percy realized what he need to do with Pandora's Box. I love Hestia as a figure in Greek mythology, so I could be a little bias, but I wanted more of her.
Because Hope survives best at the hearth.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians is 100% a 5-star series for me. Now just to convince my daughter to read them..
