My Brother's Billionaire Best Friend
by Max Monroe
ARC received for an honest review
Woohoo, a new Max Monroe is here!
I mean, any book that has a chance of having a bit of Thatch time (I know, I know it is not all about him) is a great start to the day.
Milo and Maybe's story didn't start out great for me (and this is more to do with me and my state of mind than the book) and the first 20% I was not enthralled with, however after that I couldn't wait to turn each page.
It was cute and adorable watching as Milo struggled with his feelings for his best friend's little sister, and was fun following along as this pair fall for each other. The text messages are funny and made me laugh out loud at times.
I caught a few Fifty Shades / Ana and Christian vibes in this story too - don't know if anyone else will but there were a couple of things throughout.
It was great to see more of Trent and Greer, and Emory and Quincy from the first book. And oooh myyyy goodness Cap was hilarious (especially at times with my man Thatch). We will be getting Cap's story soon, and man I can not wait to be taken on the ride when he finally finds the woman who brings him to his knees - figuratively and literally!
Hurry up September!
