This book was such a nice and refreshing read!! I will be thinking about Alba and Eridanys for the rest of my life. Alba was such a fun character to read about and I loved seeing how the love for his mother and wanting to provide for her drove him onto this adventure of finding where she went which is how we end up in Moon Harbor. I loved the scenery and the details of each location we landed, the author painted the most beautiful pictures of the landscapes and I felt like I was right there with Alba in this town. Next we meet Eridanys and let me tell you! This man (merrow)?! Amazing! I too would’ve fallen for him immediately. Watching these two progress in their relationship was so so sweet and they’re probably one of my top couples now. Not to mention the spicy scenes in this?? The mouth on Eridanys had me blushing! I also really enjoyed the mystery we have going in this book, I could definitely pick up on what was potentially happening behind the scenes but I was still definitely shocked at parts I didn’t expect!

Overall this was a lovely read and I definitely plan to read more by this author. I think my one complaint/keeping this from a 5 star for me was the syntax as at times I’d get lost in a sentence and need to read it many times to figure out what was happening/being said.
