Another X-O Manowar, another solid addition to the series.

So now that Alec brought his people back to earth shit is not going well. What happens when a group of "aliens" come to earth and want to take a piece of land? Well Russia, and every other country, is like fuck that noise. So this means war. Not fall on shooting each other, but sneaky sneaky warfare, until it gets to the boiling point and breaks. We also get some big flashbacks to get to understand Alec and his fight also with a old friend, the Enternal warrior.

Good: This volume's political side actually brought in some interesting ideas. I also thought Alec slow growth is becoming interesting. A hard-headed warrior but he is slowly coming to the realization he can't always just rush into battle. I also thought the pause on big fights helped flush out everyone better.

Bad: The art still doesn't grab me. I also don't "love" any character so that makes it hard to get super attached to everyone.

Overall I still enjoy this series. I'd actually say this is my favorite volume so far. The series just hasn't grabbed me yet but it's still interesting and fun enough to keep going!
