The first in a new series, Dead Sweet follows Sigurdis as she unravels the mystery behind the murder of a prominent government official. With a narrative interspersed with historic diary entries hinting at something very sinister, I found myself drawn in from the very beginning. Dark and twisty with cults, dodgy financial dealings and complex private lives – this is a series I’ll be sticking with.
