Oliver Park is an addict and is from Indiana. He is in a relationship with Nathan who is a trauma surgeon. However, Oliver goes on apps to find other men to have sex with. During one encounter he is choked almost to death. He reports it to the police and he tells Nathan something else happens. He ends up creating two reports that counteract one another, so the police aren’t sure what to believe. He is then harassed by his attacker. He wants Nathan to not know anything because he doesn’t want to mess anything up in their relationship since he loves him.
I thought this was a pretty decent thriller. Usually thrillers disappoint me. I picked this based off a Facebook recommendation and I really like the cover. I do think it is dumb that Oliver would cheat on Nathan, but want to keep everything perfect. Also, I guessed who was behind everything, but the cause was an omg moment for me and I felt like it was severely messed up. I found myself engrossed in the audiobook. I do recommend this.
