This follow up to a life after life is more of a companion novel than a true sequel. I liked the initial novel and thought it was good enough I should read the next one whilst I remembered it.
This was very middle of the road for me, I wasn't blown away, it has a less interesting premise and honestly for me felt a little all over the place.
I don't really like books that are a big long series as I get bored of the same characters and also the second world war is hardly a lesser written about topic.
Imo the first book is worth it, this just feels like a cash grab.
