A good book but not one the best by Jason Fforde.
I'm a fan of his work but this book was a lot harder to get into than other.
It's a standalone and there's a lot world building at the beginning.
Once you pass the first 100 hundred pages the pace gets faster and it's a really pleasant and entertaining book.
The world building is astonishing, the style is as humorous and amazing and usual. The plot, when it starts going, is fun to read.
It's recommended to Fforde fans but I wouldn't recommended to whoever never read any of his books.
