I received a copy of this book from J.M. Robson in exchange for an honest review but all thoughts are mine.

Anyone who knows me knows how long I've waited for this book (can I please have book 3???) so I couldn't bring myself to review it instantly. I had to sit with my thoughts on it for a while. Once again Robson has brought to life a gem of an horror novel. It picked up two years after the events of the first novel (Three Little Words) and brought a hole new twist to the demons within. Despite it being a sequel it is written in such a way that it totally could hold its own as a stand alone novel. It is full of a entirely new cast of characters you end up loving and/or hating depending on which side their on as well as the return of David from the original novel.

We're given a glimpse into both the good and the bad characters motivations, into how they became who they became and why. There is a lot of heartbreaking (see what I did there) loss and we see how it allows peoples worlds to crumble. It's a spook-tacular horror/thriller novel that will be added into my fall line up regularly.
