Though I've thoroughly enjoyed previous reads from Kiersten White, Lucy Undying was extremely underwhelming.
Was it a me problem?
Maybe? I dunno. Let's call it a fluke.
Typically, I enjoy dual timelines and epistolary novels, but I was boooorrred with this one ðŸ˜. I found the characters to be very melodramatic and annoying. The pacing was slow but the storyline was easy to follow and even easier to guess where it was going.
Will I still be reading books from White?
YES.
This one just wasn't for me.
